Who is this course for
This course offers guided instruction for beginners and seasoned meditators alike. Whether you are sitting for the first time or returning to a long-held practice, you will find new insights, techniques and guidance to begin or deepen your meditation. Nothing is required but a quiet hour, a pair of headphones and a willingness to be still. Each recording is audio only, so there is nothing to watch; you simply listen and let the guidance settle the space and heartmind into awareness. The seven sessions build on one another, so you can move through them in order to lay a foundation, and afterwards return to whichever one meets you where you are. Each evokes insights that can change our understanding of ourselves and life. They also provide fewer and fewer instructions as the course continues, allowing more silence and less dependence on guidance as your practice develops. After making your way through seven hours of sitting, you can return to any single session on its own, or share it aloud with a group to inspire communal meditation.
Practice at your own pace, in your own home.

Meet your teacher

For more than twenty-five years Wu De has dedicated himself to the study of Cha Dao and Zen in all their forms. Aaron Fisher was born in a very small town in Ohio and grew up practicing martial arts, which first introduced him to Eastern practices. In college, he studied anthropology and Asian philosophy. At that time, he also began a meditation practice, which ultimately led him to India upon graduation. After a few years in India, he traveled Asia, eventually settling in Japan and then Taiwan, where he has continued his studies of meditation and tea ceremony to this day. “Wu Wei Hai” is his dharma name, representing a commitment to Zen practice. “Wu De” is a shortened form of that.
